Snoqualmie Valley for Responsible Energy (SVRE) is a community advocacy coalition based in Snoqualmie Valley, Washington. This policy applies to information collected through our website at protect-snoqualmie.netlify.app.
What we collect
When you submit the comment form on our site, we collect:

- Name (optional)
- Phone number (optional)
- Comment (optional)
Why we collect it
We collect this information solely to:
- Record community support and comments regarding the proposed BESS facility
- Add you to our mailing list for campaign updates and actions you can take to help
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose.
How we store and protect it
Your personal information is encrypted at rest before being stored. Access is restricted to authorized SVRE organizers only. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except as required by law.
Data retention
We retain submitted information for the duration of the active campaign. Once the campaign concludes, personal data will be deleted within 90 days.
Your rights under Washington State law
Under the Washington Privacy Act (WPA), you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate personal data
- Delete your personal data
- Opt out of any communications from us
